Mississippi Hotels
Gulfport hotelsThe Grand Casino Hotel in Gulfport was a clean, top-notch hotel - one of the best places to stay in the city. In fact, this complex featured two hotels - Grand Casino Gulfport Oasis Hotel and Casino Tower Hotel that was located right at the casino. An enclosed air-conditioned walkway connected the Oasis hotel to the casino. The hotel staff was always very attentive, courteous and friendly. The hotel was charmingly decorated. The rooms were spacious, and well-furnished with new furniture of nice "beach" colors. Hotel prices were very reasonable for a hotel of this quality. This Gulfport hotel featured several swimming pools, waterfall (a splash area for kids), "lazy river" (a channel that surrounded the property), day care for small children (with excellent security), outdoor bar, snack shop, outdoor eating area, exercise room and spa. The Grand Casino Hotel offered a choice of several restaurants, snack bars and casino buffet. This Gulfport MS hotel was a great hotel for families with young children or teenagers, as well as for tourists. The guests could never leave the property because this excellent MS hotel had everything they needed. The Grand Casino Gulfport Hotel and Grand Casino Gulfport Oasis Hotel are now closed due to damage from Hurricane Katrina. The resort guests loved and appreciated the hotel and they hope that it will be re-built very soon.
